The Crandell Mountain Lodge has been welcoming guests to Waterton Lakes National Park since 1940. For over eighty years the Crandell has been one of the finest hotels in Waterton Park. A member of Alberta's Charming Inns, the Crandell is a unique and quaint country lodge located in the townsite of Waterton Lakes National Park. Our rooms are cozy and comfortable. All of our hotel rooms are non-smoking and non-pet friendly rooms.
All hotel rooms at the Crandell Mountain Lodge have their own private bathrooms and are perfect for comfort after a day exploring the Park. Please note that all second floor rooms are only accessible by stairs, if you have any special needs please let our guest services agents know and they will be sure to find the right room for you.
The Crandell Mountain Lodge is a rustic alpine mountain lodge. We do not offer AC in our rooms, nor do we have televisions. If you enjoy going back to a more un-connected mountain lifestyle... you will love the Crandell Mountain Lodge.

There is no full kitchen in these rooms, but they do include a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker and private bathrooms for your convenience.

The Deluxe Double Suite offers the same sleeping capacity as our standard room, but comes with a kitchenette option... not quite a full kitchen, but gives you the flexibility to self-cater for yourself if desired. Each room offers one queen bed and one double bed and comfortably sleeps four. These rooms also have a dining room table perfect for snacks or games night.

Experience cozy country romance with the Bears Den suite. Fully furnished room with a king bed living room and in room two person jetted tub.
At the time of booking guests are required to pay 1 night’s room plus tax to secure their reservation. Guests can cancel a booking up to 72 hours prior to arrival to receive a full refund of their deposit. Should a guest choose chose to cancel within the 72 hour cancellation policy the guest will forfeit their deposit.
